SAMBHAJINAGAR: Maharashtra Cid has presented a charging sheet against former Parli Council Chief Valmik Karad and its assistants in three cases: Massojog Sarpanch Santosh Despmukh murder on December 9, 2024; Attempt to extort RS 2 million rupees of the sandy energy firm; and assault on the company’s employees. Karad is a nearby assistant of the PNC Minister Dhananjay Munde.
Cid concluded that the murder of Desh-Mukh was the result of a larger Karad conspiracy, which wanted to “create a reign of terror” and eliminate those who reached its extortion attempt at RS 2 million rupees.
In addition to Karad, the load sheets were presented on February 27 before a Mcoca court Against Vishnu Chate, Southlin Ghule, Pratik Ghule, Sudhir Sangle, Mahesh Kedar, Jairam Chate and Krishna Andhale.
