Local PPP leader shot dead in Karachi’s Dalmia: police – Pakistan

A local PPP leader was shot dead in an alleged attack directed in Dalmia de Karachi on Monday night, according to the police.

He added that the body was taken to the Jinnah postgraduate medical center.

Mehdi said Khan had worked against antisocial elements in the area and that he was a former councilor and, currently, the president of the PPP of the Dalmia Union Council. Mehdi demanded the arrest of the murderers.

The Interior Minister of Sindh, Ziaul Hasan Lanjar, realized the murder and ordered the authorities to guarantee the arrest of the murderers while determining the exact motive of the incident.

The incident occurs a day after the PPP legislator Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar escaped by little death in an indiscriminate shot in the vehicle in which he was traveling on Sunday. One of his bodyguards was killed and three other people were injured in the attack, which took place on a link path near the Batri Wahi area in Ubauro Taluka of the Ghotki district.
