Captain Litton Das scored with 59 when Bangladesh beat an energetic Hong Kong for seven Wickts in his first Asia Cup match on Thursday. Hong Kong registered 143-7 after Nizakat Khan made 42 at the T20 meeting at Abu Dhabi, where the fish were invited to hit first.
Bangladesh lost two first wickts in his persecution to lift Hong Kong’s hopes of a discomfort, but Litton put a group of 95 with Towhid Hriday, who made an undefeated 35, to reach 144-3 in 17.4 overs.
Litton reached 50 in 33 balls, but fell to the medium -rhythm bowling player Ateeq Iqbal before Towhid hit the winning race.
It was the second consecutive defeat of Hong Kong in Group B, which includes Afghanistan and Sri Lanka. Afghanistan beat Hong Kong for 94 races in the first game of the tournament.
Hong Kong lost two first Wickts before Nizakat was paired with Zeeshan Ali, who made 30, in a third place of 41. Nizakat later got into another association of 46 with the pattern Yasim Murtaza, who reached 28 of 19 balls, like the two counterattacks.
Mutuza sold out and the leg spinner Rishad Hossain hit twice in the next, including taking Nizakat’s key wickt, since Hong Kong’s batting alignment stuttered towards the end.
