The BC Lions have started their CFL season with a concert by the legendary rapper Snoop Dogg.
The 35 -minute performance occurred before the Lions received the Edmonton Elks in their first game of the season.
Snoop Dogg made several of his successes, including “Pimp”, “Gin and Juice ,,” and “Drop It Like It’s Hot”, in addition to abbreviated versions of songs in which he has appeared, as “California Gurls” by Katy Perry.
The 53 -year -old musician was dressed for the occasion, wearing a BC Lions shirt with the number 20 and “Snoop Dogg” on the back of his black hood.
He closed the set signing several football and passed them to fans of the crowd before making a heart with his hands and getting the stage.

The big concerts have become an annual tradition for lions. Last year, the team launched its season with a rapper 50 Cent performance that attracted a crowd announced 53,788.
