Nueva Delhi: A Delhi Court called on Tuesday to the former CM de Bihar Lalu Prasad Yadav, his son Tablap Yadav and his sister Hema Yadav In relation to the assumption scam.
The citation, issued on Tuesday by the special judge Vishal Gogne, also extends to Prasad himself, along with his youngest son, former Bihar main vice minister, Tejashwi Yadav. The defendant has been directed to appear before the court on March 11.
The case revolves around the appointments made to the positions of Group D in the west central zone of the Indian Railways, based in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, between 2004 and 2009, when Lalu Prasad served as a railroad minister of the Railroad de la Unión de la Unión . The researchers claim that the jobs were granted in exchange for landslides or transferred to the Yadav family or their associates.
The Central Research Office (CBI) had registered the case on May 18, 2022, against Lalu Prasad, his wife rage Devi, two daughters and several unidentified and particular public officials. The CBI informed the court last year that he had obtained the necessary sanctions to prosecute Prasad, and almost 30 other defendants waited for similar approvals.
The researchers affirm that the beneficiaries of these rail works transferred land to companies linked to the Yadav family, including AK Infosystems Private Limited and AB Exports PVT Ltd. The Configuration Directorate (ED) has described them as Shell entities supposedly used to wash the washed Illicit gains. According to the reports, AK Infosystems, with an address in the New Friends neighborhood of Delhi, was operated by Texashwi Yadav and an associate from the Yadav family, Syed Abu Dojana.
The Emergency Department has also claimed that rage Devi and Hema Yadav acquired four land plots of employment applicants and then sold them for 3.5 million rupees, significantly higher than the acquisition cost of RS 7.5 Lakh, which belongs to substantial financial benefits. These funds were supposedly channeled in other entities, such as the Bhag timehi tubes.
According to the ED, the land scheme for the works allowed the Yadav family to accumulate land plots now valued in more than 200 million rupees.
