Socialite Paris Hilton shared a video showing her devastated home, destroyed by the Los Angeles wildfires.
“I’m here in what used to be our house and the heartbreak is truly indescribable,” Hilton wrote on Instagram.
“When I first saw the news, I was in complete shock – I couldn’t process it. But now, standing here and seeing it with my own eyes, I feel like my heart has shattered into a million pieces.”
The house holds memories he shared with his family, he said, adding that it is where his son Phoenix “made art that I will cherish forever.”
She empathized with other residents who lost their homes to the fires and said this is “not just my story.”
Authorities report that at least 10 people have died and more than 10,000 properties have been damaged since the catastrophic Los Angeles wildfires began on Tuesday.
As of Friday, 153,000 residents were still under evacuation orders as firefighters struggled to contain fires in Palisades, Eaton, Hurst and Kenneth.
