Kevin Costner remembered the Canadian actor Graham Greene on Tuesday as a “teacher at work and a wonderful human being”, in a publication on social networks that represents one of his scenes together in 1990 Dances with wolves.
Greene, the Oneida actor of the six -nations reserve in Ontario, died on Monday at the age of 73, confirmed her manager to CBC News.

“Working with him was surprisingly fun,” said Hawke. “He improvised brilliantly and infused every moment with spontaneity and humor.”
While Hawke did not appoint the project, the actor appears in the FX series The Lowthat debuts at the end of this month.
Sterling Harjo, one of the executive producers in that program, was also the showrunner of Reserve dogsThe 2021-2023 series in which Greene appeared in three episodes.

Governor-Gen. Mary Simon said in a written statement on Tuesday that Greene brought dignity to each character she portrayed, giving an example for other actors.
“Mr. Greene broke barriers for indigenous actors, challenging stereotypes and opening doors for future generations,” he wrote. “Today we honor its extraordinary contributions to the Canadian culture and celebrate a legacy that will resonate in Canada and beyond.”
Greene survives his wife, Hilary Blackmore, and his daughter Lilly Lazare-Grenne.
