Kate Middleton seen in tiara for the first time in nearly 2 years

The brightness is back in Windsor Castle.

During an official appearance in Windsor, England, Catherine, Princess of Wales, had a tiara for the first time since 2023.

The 43 -year -old woman was photographed on July 8 arriving at a state banquet at Windsor Castle with her husband, Prince William, by her side. For his appearance, the Real wore the classic knot tiara of Queen Maria’s lover, one of her tiaras more frequently, along with a dark red dress by Sarah Burton (Burton was also the designer behind the iconic princess’s icon dress).

The famous jewelry piece is identifiable for its multiple pearls in the form of a drop.

The banquet was held in honor of the French president Emmanuel Macron and Brigitte Macron, First Lady of France, who marked the first state visit of France to the United Kingdom from Brexit. During his visit, President Macron is also expected to go to Parliament and visit Imperial College London.

The banquet, organized by King Carlos III and Queen Camilla, is the first moment of Tiara de Kate since he shared his diagnosis of cancer in March 2024.

Before his last appearance, Kate had a tiara at Buckingham Palace in December 2023, according to People.com. For the occasion, she carried the lover’s knot. That same month he marked his last public appearance before being diagnosed with cancer.

Importance of the lover’s knot

Although closely associated with Kate, who has converted the lover’s tiara into one of the most recognizable jewels to be used by the British royal family, the tiara goes further in history. According to the previous reports of Today.com, the headband was commissioned by Queen Maria around 1914 and was often used by Princess Diana. The Tiara was given to Diana for her 1981 wedding with Prince Carlos by the late Queen Elizabeth II. It is said that Diana often complained about the weight of the tiara, attributing headaches to the weight of the piece.
