Karachi police arrest man for allegedly torching wife over infidelity dispute – Pakistan

Karachi’s police arrested a suspect who was allegedly fired to his wife when she opposed her infidelity in the city of Mehran of the Korangi industrial area.

Korangi police superintendent (investigation) Mohammed Qais Khan said Dawn.com“The police made a raid in the Azempura area of ​​the Shah Faisal neighborhood and arrested the suspect.”

He said that the suspect had allegedly burned his wife on Saturday and was currently admitted to the Burns Center of the Karachi Civil Hospital to receive treatment.

The wife had submitted a first information report (FIR) on Sunday under section 324 (Attempt atmosphere) of the Pakistan Criminal Code.

She said she married her husband about two years for love, adding that the couple had no children. She said that her husband’s attitude changed shortly after marrying her, when she began to physically abuse her regularly.

The FIR said that it had also “developed an interest in other women.” On March 14, when he did not return home until late at night, the wife said he suspected that he could be in the company of another woman.

The wife said in the FIR that her husband raised the cell phone when she tried to contact the other woman, and began to throw abuses for making the phone call.

The FIR said that when the suspect returned home at 11:45 pm, he started hitting his wife and poured chest oil and set on fire in an anger attack.

He added that the suspect managed to escape, while the wife said she suffered burns wounds and her father -in -law took her to the center of Burns to receive treatment. The plaintiff said she wanted legal procedures against her husband for hitting her and burning her.

Also on Saturday, a woman looking for Khula was supposedly killed by her husband outside the Malir Court facilities. Police had said that Rehmat Begum, 45, was stabbed to death and her 18 -year -old daughter was injured by her husband, Sarwar, outside the court of Malir. After the incident, the police had arrested the suspect.
