Justin Bieber created a buzz in Cambridge, Ontario, on Friday, and not for the recent surprise launch of his album, Swag II.
Bieber and his wife Hailey Bieber, model, entrepreneur and member of the famous Baldwin family, stopped in local businesses in the city of southern Ontario, approximately one hour west of Toronto.
In a publication on Thursday on his own Instagram page, Justin is seen in a photo, playing Pool and Dart in Chicago Pub & Billards in Hespeler Road. The publication says: “I am a player, what can I say”?
The restaurant published photos of the singer and composer, originally from neighboring Stratford, Ontario, to their food on social networks. The pool hall also shared a video taken by photographer Taylor Jones to his Instagram stories that show Bieber singing Go baby.
“From the stage to our pub,” the publication said, showing photos of Bieber smiling with people who were also there.
The Cambridge Bia center shared two photos of the biebers visiting Monigram Coffee and the Mule restaurant.
“We love to see worldwide faces visiting the same local places in our community treasures every day,” said the BIA in its publication.
According to the comments of the photo of the mule that was published in the Bieber’s account, the local singer and composer Alysha Brilla wrote on Friday that it was “very pleasant to meet them yesterday and for being so sweet with my niece in the restaurant. Your kindness moved us and, of course, her toast (an artist partner) loved the beautiful moment.”
The stops in Cambridge are not a surprise because the biebers have a home in Puslinch, where they spent a lot of time during the pandemic. Justin has called it “one of the most peaceful places.”
This experience of visits ‘not every day’
Cambridge Coun. Scott Hamilton says that having to be able to starred as the biebers who visit local property businesses is a great blessing for the city because “it is not every day that one of the best -selling musical artists of all time visits their city.”
“I think that all residents are excited that an international renowned internationally -renowned local pop star visited local stores to which residents come every day with their families,” Hamilton told CBC News.
“I think it connects international stardom of social networks and television and entertainment with our daily lives, and it is a reminder of what many Cambridge residents know and feel, which we love our center core.”
Hamilton added that he expected the two to have a wonderful visit to the city.
“It is also a reminder that Justin and Hailey Bieber are also people. They have to get tacos, they have to eat, they have to go for coffee and socialize,” he said.
“It simply reminds us that, regardless of any walk of life that we come, we are all in this together. We can also go to the same stores, the same restaurants and we all share this sense of humanity that meets when we stay local. We compare local and to see a mega international star visit our stores and our restaurants, it is a reminder that our city is a truly excellent place.”
The mayor of Camrbidge, Jan Liggett, said he brought him “great pride” to see the couple enjoy what the city has to offer.
“I have followed the reports of the residents that detect them, enjoying our restaurants, landscapes and sense of community, which are characteristics of the Experience of Cambridge that are exhibited in a world scenario,” Liggett said.
