Jammu: the army retaliates to shoot “not caused” on Sunday of the Pakistani troops along the crazy Gulpur sector of J & K’s POONCH district.
“There was a brief exchange of fire. Our troops effectively retaliate. There was no damage to our side, ”said an official source.
The skirmishes occur two days after an army Jawan was injured in a sniper shot suspected of having been fired from the other side of the border in the Keri area of the Akhnoor sector of Jammu. Another Jawan was injured in a similar shot in the Newshera sector in Rajouri on February 10.
India and Pakistan Have a 2021 agreement on “strict observance” of high fire.
