The Winnipeg Jet Captain, Adam Lowry, was harassed by teammates when fans dressed in white stopped and roared after he leaned down in the winning beo 16:10 in extra double time for a 4-3 NHL victory over St. Louis Blues in game 7 on Sunday.
The Jets will face the stars of Dallas in the second round of the playoffs of the West Conference, starting Wednesday in the capital of Manitoba. Winnipeg has never played the stars in the postseason.
It was the third most long game in the history of the NHL at 96 minutes, 10 seconds.
Winnipeg dropped 3-1 in the third period when veteran striker Vladislav Namestnikov scored with 1:56 remaining after his shot went from the defense of the blues Ryan Suter.
With goalkeeper Connor Hellebuyck taken for the extra attacker, Winnipeg seemed to be tied with 1:06 remaining, but a review ruled that the album did not cross the goal line.
Cole Perfetti then scored his second redirected objective of the game with three remaining seconds to lift 15,225 frantic fans dressed in white from his seats inside the Life Center of Canada. Kyle Connor and Neal Pionk had three assists for jets.
Winnipeg went to the 6:20 power game in the first extra half when St. Louis Brayden Schenn was called for the delay of the game. The jets tried to hit the album in the fold, but goalkeeper Jordan Binnington covered him.
Binnington also stopped the Nikolaj Ehlers end in a getaway. The Jets surpassed the Blues 11-4 in the first additional session.
Hellebuyck ended with 26 salvages. The trophies finalist and Hart was taken in favor of Eric Comrie’s support in the previous three games, but made some key salvages on Sunday.
The Jets lost to the maximum defender Josh Morrissey about eight minutes in the first period. They were already without the Mark Scheifele star (lesion in the upper body) for a second consecutive game.
Winnipeg won the first trophy of the presidents of the franchise after having a regular season record 56-22-4 better than the League and were the favorites against the eighth blues planted.
The Jets jumped to a 2-0 advantage in the best series of seven, but ended up organizing the first game 7 in the city.
Jordan Kyrou scored in the first photo of the blues game and Mathieu Joseph and Radek Faksa also had goals for visitors. Binnington made 43 saves.
Kyrou scored at 1:10 after he and Colton Parayko rushed. Kyrou passed the album through the front of the Network to Parayko, who passed it and Kyrou pushed him for a stretched hellobuyck. It marked the fastest goal to start a 7 game in the history of Blues.
Joseph put the 2-0 after collecting a loose album dropped by Connor in the neutral zone. Using Morrissey as a screen, Joseph sent a wrist shot moving to Hellebuyck on the side of the stick at 7:16.
Morrissey went to dress shortly after the goal. Previously in the game, he was beaten in the boards by the Blues striker Oskar Sindqvist and seemed to have pain while sitting on the bank. He did not return.
The Jets lost in a couple of opportunities at the beginning of the second period, but obtained the first game of power of the game and quickly told.
Seven seconds after Sundqvist was called by the Court, Connor sent the album to the Perfetti on the side of the network and the Whitby product, ontarium, redirected it by Binnington at 11:41.
St. Louis recovered a two -goal advantage after Ehlers lost the album and Faksa beat Hellebuyck High over his glove with 34.1 seconds in the second.

It was the 19th game 7 of all St. Louis, the most among all non -original NHL clubs. The franchise now has a record of 10-9.
