A “Jeopardy!” The contestant had a little error when it was a success of Cénline Dion.
Drew Goins, a Hawaii -based journalist who was competing in the “Jeopardy!” 2025 champions bunning tournament, a question was lost about the singer of “My Heart Will Go On”, after giving Dion special thanks to the beginning of the episode.
During Friday’s episode, Goins listed several people who wanted to thank, including a celebrity.
“John the producer suggested, long history, that I thank Cénline Dion. So, thanks, Céline Dion, ”he said, while leaning and looked at the camera.
“Does she know what he did?” The host Ken Jennings asked.
“Oh, she does,” Goins replied. “In the background.”
Later in the episode, Goins had the opportunity to flex his knowledge of the singer when he was presented with a question of $ 2000 of the category “’90s No. 1 hits”.
“Sharing its title with a previous and optimistic success of Huey Lewis, it was number 1 for Celine Dion in 1994,” Jennings said.

Jennings finally revealed the answer to the question, sharing: “Like Huey Lewis, Céline Dion sang a song called ‘The Power of Love'”.
Returning to the podium, Goins excused the error, saying: “I was born in 1994!”
The journalist finally arrived in the second place in the final of the Wildcard Champions Tournament, taking home a $ 40,000 prize. As a runner -up, Goins still slipped into the next champions tournament, and is scheduled to play in the quarterfinals on February 3.
While Goins was disappointed by a question about Dion, he had a memorable moment of redemption during the second chance tournament with another pop superstar: Taylor Swift.
During an episode of September 2024 of “Jeopardy!” Goins did not answer the $ 800 question, “Taylor Swift’s Record 4 Aoty Grammys went to this album in 2010”.
None of the contestants buzzed with the answer, which was “intrepid.”
