Police in Japan Shiga Prefecture arrested an Indian man for allegedly violating a teenager last month, the local media Kyoto Shimbun reported.
Shiga’s police arrested the man, identified as a 24 -year -old temporary worker, on Thursday, suspected of assaulting and raping a adolescent high school girl.
The man supposedly assaulted the “girl who lives in the prefecture, even drowning her and then having sex with her in a hotel in the city of Otsu.”
The incident took place in the early hours of June 21, according to the report, which was also taken by Tokyo reporter.
He quoted the Otsu police saying that the suspect and the girl did not know each other. The man had gone with her at the forefront of a hotel under the pretext of asking for addresses, then forced her to enter a room, the police said.
The suspect denied the charges and was summoned by saying: “I did not force it.”
In May, the Japanese police said they arrested a former taxi driver under suspicion of drugs and violate a passenger, and media reports say that the police found around 3,000 videos and images of him sexually assaulting around 50 women in his taxi or his home.
