Jaffar Express derailed by explosion near Shikarpur – Pakistan

Three Jaffar Express train trainers were derailled near Shikarpur in Sindh due to an explosion on Monday, leaving one injured, Pakistan’s associated press reported.

According to the report, Sukkur rescue teams were sent to begin repair work after the incident.

Sukkur Railways’s divisional superintendent Jamshaid Alam said that Jaffar Express was traveling from Peshawar to Quetta when he was caught in the explosion near Sultanpur.

“After the explosion, the train operations have been suspended,” Alam said, adding that the passengers “faced serious difficulties due to the derailment of the train.”

Railroad officials declared that it can take up to five hours to restore the road.

Meanwhile, the government authorities of Sindh have realized the explosion on the track and ordered an investigation.

This is not the first time that the train service has been attacked.

In June, the detonation of a remote controlled explosive device installed on railroad roads were four Bogies of the Jaffar Express near the cattle market in Jacobabad.

No one was injured in the incident, but the attack was claimed by the Baloch Republican guards forbidden in a statement.

On March 11, the train became the objective of an unprecedented kidnapping, when the terrorists shot at the locomotive and took more than 400 passengers as hostages.

The media reports said the security forces had surrounded the area and launched an authorization operation to rescue all passengers. Pakistan radio He informed that the security forces had rescued 80 hostages in the hands of the terrorists.

The general director of Public Relations between Services, General Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, said on March 12 that the authorization operation, launched after the unprecedented kidnapping of the train in Baluchistan, ended with the 33 killed terrorists.
