• More than 40 most killed Palestinians; More than 20 destroyed buildings
• Netanyahu says that getting rid of Hamas key to deal with the end war
Gaza City: Israeli air attacks hit two UN schools that take refuge to the Palestinians displaced in the city of Gaza with more than 40 people killed since the dawn on Saturday during the strip hit by the war, Al Jazeera reported.
The Gaza government media office says that more than 1.3 million Palestinians, including 350,000 children, remain in the city of Gaza and the north, despite the relentless bombing of Israel and the orders of forced evacuation.
Israeli forces fired artillery shells and smoke bombs in the areas of Al-Nafaq and Yarmouk.
In August, Israel announced plans for a military acquisition and the occupation of the largest city in the enclave, where around 1.3 million Palestinians are currently taking refuge with fear and without water, food and medicine.
Three Israeli air attacks went to the public prosecutor’s building, southwest of the city of Gaza, Al Jazeera reported.
Israeli forces destroyed a residential tower, three shelters and more than 20 buildings from the morning.
Meanwhile, the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, alleged on Saturday to get rid of the bosses of Hamas living in Qatar would eliminate the main obstacle to freeing all prisoners and ending the war in Gaza. Israel went on Tuesday to Hamas’ leadership in Doha.
The Israeli army also said on Saturday that more than 250,000 people had fled from the city of Gaza since it began to intensify the operations there, since Palestinian officials reported that many had not been able to evacuate the south due to overcrowding.
The United Nations estimated at the end of August that around one million Palestinians lived in the largest urban center in Gaza and its surroundings, where he said that a famine was developing after months of worsening conditions.
The world body and the members of the international community have urged the military to abandon their plans to capture the city, warning the assault and posterior displacement could worsen the already serious humanitarian situation.
On Saturday, the army spokesman in Arabic language, Avichay Adraee, said in X that “more than a quarter of a million residents of the city of Gaza have moved from the city for their own security.”
The Gaza Civil Defense Agency, however, reported a much lower figure, saying that less than 70,000 had managed to leave.
The Israeli army launched brochures on Saturday urging residents in Western districts to evacuate, since the civil defense reported continuous air attacks.
“The Israeli army is operating with a very intense force in its area and is determined to dismantle and defeat Hamas,” read the brochures, urging people to evacuate the south. “They have warned you.”
Mohammad Abu Salmiya, head of the Al-Shifa medical complex, told AFP that the displacement continued within the city of Gaza, with the residents who moved from this to west, but “only a small number of people has been able to reach the south.”
“Even those who manage to flee from the South often find no place to stay, since Al-Mawasi and Deir Al-Balah are overcrowded,” said the senior official, adding that many had returned to the city of Gaza.
South ‘either sure’
“The real number of Gaza displaced people to the south is approximately 68,000 alone,” said Civil Defense spokesman Mahmud Bassal AFP
“Many residents still remain firm, and many others cannot find space in the south.” Bakri Diab, who fled from the city of western Gaza for the south, said that Israeli attacks continued there too.
“The bombing also occurs here, the south is not sure,” said the father of four 35 -year -old children. “All that the occupation has done is to force people to be crowded in places without basic services and without security.”
Israel has received a growing international pressure to stop his offensive from Gaza City, but says he is determined to dismantle what he describes as one of Hamas’ latest strengths.
