Israel’s cabinet formally approved a ceasefire and the release of hostages between Israel and Hamas. It will mark the end of the conflict that began with the Hamas terrorist attack on October 7, 2023 and caused tens of thousands of deaths in Gaza. NBC’s Daniele Hamamdjian reports for TODAY.
