The COA “transmitted their thanks to the delegation for their visit and reiterated Pakistan’s desire to deepen and diversify their long -standing association with the United States in a way that is mutually beneficial and respectful of the national interests of others,” said the ISPR.
The comprehension memorandes were also signed to train collaboration in the information technology sector, the statement added.
Early, Naqvi said that Pakistan stopped as a “wall between terrorism and the rest of the world” when he met the delegation of US legislators in Islamabad, according to a press release from the PID administered by the Government.

Naqvi described the visit of American congressmen as crucial to highlight Pakistan’s unprecedented role in the fight against terrorism.
Last month, the president of the United States, Donald Trump, had praised Pakistan’s help to stop a terrorist responsible for a 2021 bombing in Afghanistan who killed 13 members of the US service.
Naqvi said that strong and sustainable relations with the United States occupy a key place in Pakistan’s foreign policy. He described the celebration of the Caucus of Pakistan, which Suozzi is directed, in the United States on April 30 as a welcome development.
The Interior Minister also welcomed the participation of an American delegation in the Pakistan 2025 Mineral Investment Forum held in Islamabad earlier this week. He affirmed that the Government would guarantee all possible facilities and full protection for investors.
Meanwhile, Chaudhry expressed the hope that an united Pakistan-State anti-terrorism dialogue that will take place in the Federal Capital in June would play a key role in promoting mutual cooperation in that domain.
On the other hand, the US delegation was summoned by saying that it was necessary to highlight the role of Pakistan in the war against terrorism. They also noticed that the Pakistani community resided in the United States was “very talented and hardworking.”
Congressman Bergman has expressed his support for former Prime Minister Imran Khan, asking for his release when he met with former President Dr. Arif Alvi and PTI Shahbaz Gill leader in February.
