Islamabad: Southern Asia, a home of almost a fifth of the world’s population, can dig up irresponsible actions such as those carried out by India, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan on Friday.
In the Weekly Press Information Session, FO spokesman Shafqat Ali Khan said: “It is very unfortunate that India’s reckless behavior has brought the two states with nuclear weapons to an important conflict.”
His comments were ahead of a meeting between the Minister of State for Saudi for Foreign Affairs, Adel Al-Jubeir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and other main state officials. The Saudi official had traveled to Pakistan on Friday after completing an official visit to India.
According to Prime Minister’s office (PMO), Riad’s emissary, “said more condolences for the loss of a precious civil life.”
He said that the kingdom was deeply concerned about the current situation in southern Asia, and reiterated his country’s call to reduce reduction, as well as the peaceful resolution of all pending disputes between Pakistan and India, in accordance with international law and the relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council, said the PMO.
While arguing the prevailing situation in southern Asia, the prime minister strongly condemned the attacks of missiles and drones of India against Pakistan that had resulted in the martyrdom of dozens of innocent civilians, including women and children, as well as damages to civil infrastructure.
He stressed that acts of unjustified and unjustified aggression of India had violated Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and regional peace and regional stability seriously in danger.
Previously, the Vice Prime Minister Ishaq Dar received Adel Al-Jubeir in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and exchanged opinions on the regional situation in evolution.
Fo Brision
Previously, in the weekly informative session, the FO spokesman said that following Pahalgam’s attack, Indian leadership “once again used the ghost of terrorism to advance in his false narrative of the victim, endangering regional peace.”
“Jingoism and War Hysteria of India should be a source of serious concern for the world,” he added.
The spokesman reiterated that Pakistan rejected any attempt to link him to the attack in Pahalgam.
He pointed out that several countries and international organizations had asked both countries to exercise restriction in the last two weeks, and was “highly deplorable that India did not pay attention to these calls.”
“The international community should hold India for its irresponsible, illegal and belligerent behavior,” he said.
“The statement that Pakistan intensified the situation through Pahalgam’s attack on April 22 is totally absurd. To date, India has not been able to produce any credible and verifiable evidence of Pakistan’s participation in the attack.
“On the contrary, acts of aggression committed by their Armed Forces had the approval and support of their entire government,” he said. “Therefore, it is India that has intensified the situation by violating Pakistan’s sovereignty and killing civilians.”
He said that “the Pakistani forces did not attacked Pahalgam, but the Indian forces attacked multiple places in Pakistan,” and added that Pakistan reserves the right to take all measures in their self -defense as enshrined in article 51 of the UN Charter.
The spokesman said that on April 26, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had requested an “neutral and transparent” investigation on Pahalgam’s attack, but “India chose the path of belligerence and aggression.”
The FO spokesman also said that the Indian statements of attacking terrorists or terrorist infrastructure “are blatantly false [and] It is a matter of registration that Indian strikes resulted in the martyrdom of civilians, including women and children. “
Khan said that “the current Indian dispensation is committed to weapons water; IWT suspense maintenance is unilateral and illegal.
“Pakistan is an agrarian economy. Millions of people depend on water being regulated by the treaty. The Indian decision is equivalent to an attack against the people of Pakistan and the economy.
“For Pakistan, the Indian announcement has no legal consequences. The treaty remains forced and totally binding for the parties,” he said.
