India’s false pride stands shattered, says PM – Pakistan

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Thursday that Pakistan’s armed forces had destroyed the ‘false hegemony’ of India and made everyone realize that all the states of the region are the same.

The prime minister asked India again to sit at the table to solve controversial problems, including Kashmir, through dialogue, without which there will be no guarantee of permanent peace.

Meanwhile, according to a decision announced by the Prime Minister, the Nation will observe Yerm-I-Tashakur on Friday (today) about Pakistan’s victory in the recent conflict with India.

“Not only has the world’s mentality changed, but also the equation in the region and in the world,” said the prime minister when he headed to a meeting of Pakistan Air Force officers during a visit to Paf Airbase Kamra. He made the visit to meet the Pakistani pilots who had successfully defended the Nation during one of the longest aerial commitments of the 21st century between May 6 and 10.

He pointed out that PAF had established its superiority over India by taking not five but six combat planes, including three Rafale aircraft.

“Today I want to tell the nation with pride that you (PAF pilots) have not knocked down five but six Indian combat planes,” he added.

He said that the Pakistani Shaheens had made history. “Your friends and enemies will remember this story forever. You destroyed the enemy and increased the confidence of your friends,” he added.

He recalled that after Pahalgam’s incident, Pakistan had offered transparent and independent investigation, but India imposed war on Pakistan and brutally killed innocent citizens. However, Pakistan’s response was vigorous and India will never dare to attack Pakistan again, he added.

The prime minister was accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, the head of the Army staff general, Syed Also Munir, head of the Head of the State Air, the Marshal of the Air Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu and other officials.

Prime Minister Shehbaz urged his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi to sustain the dialogue and said: “His war fever would have gone, so now talk about peace and knows what his previous requirements are; you must first give the right of self -determination to the people of Kashmir under the resolutions of the UN.” They sat together to solve this problem, otherwise, you can ignore fire at any time in the future, “he added.

Previously, Prime Minister Shehbaz spoke with the president of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, by phone and transmitted his deep gratitude for being resolutely with Pakistan during the crisis with India.

President Aliyev hotly congratulated prime minister about Pakistan’s remarkable success and welcomed the fire.
