Nueva Delhi: a transport aircraft transport aircraft (IAF) made an accidental landing in Bagdo in Western Bengal on Friday, the authorities confirmed.
The crew of the AN-32 plane escaped unharmed, and efforts are being made to recover the plane from the site.
“An accident that involves an AN-32 transport plane at Bagdogra airport has come to light today. The plane is recovering from the site. The crew of the plane is safe,” said the IAF in a statement.
This incident occurs on the same day as another aviation accident that involves a Jaguar combat planewhich crashed in the Ambala de Haryana district during a routine training outlet. The pilot expelled safely before the aircraft fell.
According to the IAF officials, the Jaguar took off from the Ambala Air Base in the afternoon, but found a malfunction of the system, which led to the accident around 3.45 pm. Fortunately, there were no victims or injuries, since the pilot moved the plane away from populated areas before expelling.
In a statement about X, the IAF confirmed the incident, saying: “A Jaguar aircraft of the IAF crashed in Ambala, during a routine training output today, after finding the system malfunction. The pilot maneuvered the plane away from any room on the floor before expelling safely.”
The authorities have ordered a Investigation Court To determine the cause of the accident.
