India a ‘belligerent power spinning out of control’, says Sherry Rehman on Jaishankar’s remarks – Pakistan

The PPP senator, Sherry Rehman, described India on Tuesday as a “belligerent power that turned out of control” while responding to the comments of the latter’s external affairs, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, about accusations of terrorism.

Pakistan and India have disagreed since a deadly attack in the pahalgama of Cashmiro occupied on April 22. Nueva Delhi, without any evidence, blamed Islamabad for the attack, while Pakistan strongly denied the statements and offered a neutral investigation. Then, the two nations fought against a conflict of four days before the United States negotiated a fire on May 10.

Speaking in Brussels today, Jaishankar said that when the prime minister of India, Narendra Modi, said that “the Sindoor operation” was not over, it was a clear message that “we reserved the right to persecute terrorists at any time, anywhere, anywhere they have hurt us.”

Responding to the statement, Senator Rehman said in X: “Sorry, but these threats only suggest a belligerent power that turns out of control.”

The senator, who is also part of a high -level delegation that presents the position of Pakistan to the main powers of the world, declared: “This beating of the terrorism drum has become a cartoon of a country that now cannot contain its own political crises.

“Pakistan cannot be responsible for each attack in India, which is the home of a dozen insurgences,” he said, adding that “lessons of the encounter with Pakistan have not been learned, and evidence is not provided.”

Similarly, the former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hina Rabbani Khar, also part of the delegation, said that India had learned “no lesson from her recent illegal aggression, exploding in her myth of conventional supremacy, knocking down her jets and her credibility.”

On the other hand, he said, Pakistan continued “celebrating [the] Elen the fire and seeks a lasting peace that can allow Asia del Sur to breathe and prosper. ”

Earlier this month, Pakistan launched a wide -based commitment campaign to present his perspective on the recent conflict with India to the world and counteract the accusations not proven from New Delhi. As part of its worldwide dissemination, the team has visited the United States, is currently in London and will also go to Brussels.

Besiders Khar and Rehman, the delegation includes former foreign ministers Bilwal Bhutto-Zardari and Khurram Dastgir; Senators Musadik Malik, Faisal Subzwari and Bushra Anjum Butt; Together with the superior envoys Jalil Abbas Jilani and Tehmina Janjua.

For their part, delegations of all Indian parties have also visited their key partners, including the United States.
