Millions of Muslims around the world observed Eidul Azha, also known as the feast of sacrifice, offering special sentences, holding social meetings and giving meat to those in need on Saturday.
Celebrated on Zilhaj, Eidul Azha marks the culmination of Haj, one of the five pillars of Islam.
The faithful in several countries, including Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Thailand and Myanmar, gathered to mark the festivities, in the midst of the shadow of Israeli bombing and the siege in Gaza, which until now has claimed the lives of more than 54,000 Palestinians.
