New Dlehi: Congress has raised concerns about the health of Bihar’s Prime Minister, Nithis Kumar, and the State’s fiscal condition, asking for a change in the government. Congress leader, Pawan Khera, alleged Sunday that Kumar’s health deterioration has left it without realizing the affairs of the State, warning that his signature “could be misused by those who have acquired interests.”
“His signature (CM) could be misused by those who have acquired interests,” Khera added.
When heading to a press conference in Patna, Khera launched the slogan ‘Sarkar Badlo, Bihar Badlo’ (change the government, change Bihar), claiming that governance and development in the state have stopped under the NDA. “The fiscal state of Bihar and the deteriorated health condition of the CM are issues of serious concern. We wish him the best, but the current state of Bihar raises serious questions. How sure is Bihar under the leadership of a cm disagree? His health was fine when he was with the great alliance. After joining the hands with the BJP last year, his deterioration condition.”
The Congress leader also cited a CAG report to affirm that malnutrition among children in Bihar is increasing, while government hospitals face a sharp shortage of doctors and medications. “Bihar needs to be changed, and for that, the current government must be eliminated. We will present a detailed radiography of the Bihar government before the people. It will say how the government failed,” he said.
Meanwhile, the political strategist turned into Activist Prashant Kishor intensified his criticism of Nith Kumar, questioning his mental capacity and demanding his resignation. Kishor accused Kumar of losing administrative control and claimed that the CM is “physically exhausted and mentally unable to governance.”
“The first person to comment on the health of Nitish Kumar was his ally, Sushil Kumar Modi. Since then, many Bihar ministers have talked about their condition. I never commented until January. But during BPSC’s protests, I realized that Niten Kumar’s mental condition has deteriorated much that has no cinema about what is happening in the state.”
His comments arrive after a viral video showed Kumar talking with the main secretary during the national anthem, causing criticism of opposition leaders. RJD’s boss Lalu Prasad condemned the law, declaring: “India will not resist the insult of the national anthem.”
Kishor also accused the BJP of using Kumar as a “mask” to stay in power. “The BJP deserves equal guilt because it is not possible for the prime minister or the Interior Minister not to be aware that Nithis Kumar is not mentally suitable,” he said.
Despite the growing criticism, Nithis Kumar’s son, Nishant and JD (U), have dismissed speculation about their health. Nishant said his father is “100 percent in form” and is able to continue as prime minister.
