Health Canada is remembering seven baby sun loungers, saying that “incidents and continuous concerns” have also led him to warn about the general risks that products represent for babies.
“The safest place for a baby to sleep is on their backs, only in a crib, cradle or consíngula that meets current Canadian security regulations,” the department said in a press release, announcing that a sampling and evaluation program for the products is carrying out.
As part of the program, Health Canada has so far identified a series of nest and baby loungers that are remembering and eliminating the market, since they do not comply with Canadian security regulations.
They include the BCHIC and Chicure brands, the FFQRLP brand, the portable cradle of Hapden Travel, Housbay, La Millou, Style Life Eleven, Zoomie Kids and Vevor.
Products are available in online markets, such as Amazon, Walmart, Aliexpress, Wayfair and Vevor. They are being removed from the market by a series of danger risks, such as strangulation, suffocation, entrapment and fall.
