Health Canada issued a retirement notice on Friday for baby and chicure model nest beds on several safety risks.
The department said that the intermediate beds of the bed and the luggage of the brand “eleven” do not comply with the regulations and have the potential of “the risks of autumn, strangulation and entrapment”, but so far there have been no incidents or injuries in Canada.
“Consumers must stop using the products removed from the market and safely eliminate articles in such a way that they cannot be used again,” said Health Canada.
“Health Canada remembers parents and caregivers that the safest place for a baby to sleep is on his back to a firm and flat surface destined to sleep.”
