The Cricket Board of Pakistan (PCB) and the president of the Cricket Council of Asia (ACC), Mohsin Naqvi, refuted on Wednesday the statements of the Indian media that he had apologized to the Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI) for the trophy transfer problem in the Asia Cup on Sunday.

“As president of ACC, I was ready to deliver the trophy that same day and I’m still ready now,” he said. “If you really want it, they can come to the ACO office and pick it up.”
During the Asia Cup, Naqvi had previously expressed disappointment for the “lack of sportsmanship” on the Indian side after Yadav apparently politicized the victory by dedicating it to the victims of Pahalgam’s terrorist attack in May.
