The 23 -year -old ton came out of 44 balls, the fastest for any Pakistan player in an International T20.
He assured that his team reached the target with four complete overshoes, in a marked investment of the form after strong losses in Christchurch and Dunedin.
Nawaz left his first failures with a bright blow with shots around the Wickt, including a series of bold ramp shots.
The right splashed the short limits of Eden Park with 10 four and seven six, which caused the victory with successive four of Kyle Jamieson in 16.
The first of those shots led Nawaz to 100, five balls faster than the previous Pakistan record holder: Babar Azam against South Africa in 2021.

Previously, New Zealand looked well located after Mark Chapman reached a fast 94 before being fired in its end.
Chapman dominated after New Zealand was asked to hit, with 11 four and four of only 44 balls faced.
