Nueva Delhi: The Haryana government will present a case against the Supreme of the AAM AADMI (AAP) party, Arvind Kejriwal, on his comment claiming that “Veneno” was mixing in Yamuna, Vipul Goel Minister of State said Wednesday.
The case will be registered under the Disaster Management Law in the Court Chief of Judicial Magistrate (CJM) in Sonipat.
“Kejriwal has made an irresponsible statement that disseminates panic between the people of Delhi and Haryana. The Haryana government will register against him before CJM Court in Sonipat under sections 2 (d) of the Disaster Management Law” Goel said, “Goel told reporters. The provisions mentioned are in charge of false circulating alarms that can cause public panic.
Meanwhile, Haryana’s Prime Minister Nayab Singh Saini, in the middle of the accusations, took a sip of water from the Yamuna River in the Palla de Delhi village.
Goel criticized Kejriwal’s statement, saying: “What kind of water do we give them (A Delhi), all our officers have reviewed the water that is supplied.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also hit Kejriwal, saying that “the people of AAP-Da” have become desperate for fear of defeat in the next elections of the Delhi Assembly. “A former CM has made malicious accusations against the people of Haryana. The people of ‘AAP-DA’ have desperately due to the fear of defeat,” Modi said at a public meeting at Kartar Nagar de Delhi.
“Is Haryana different from Delhi? They don’t have children and family in Delhi? Will they mix poison for their own people?” asked.
Prime Minister Saini also dismissed Kejriwal’s accusations as a “political trick” destined to influence voters before Delhi’s surveys on February 5. He assured that the Haryana government is committed to guaranteeing the supply of clean and uninterrupted water to Delhi.
The AAP had previously accused the Haryana government led by BJP to deliberately released industrial waste to Yamuna. Kejriwal said: “BJP people in Haryana are mixing poison in the water and sending it to Delhi. If people in Delhi drink this water, many will die. Can anything be more disgusting than this?”
In addition, he claimed that the pollution was so severe that it could not be treated in water plants, which forces the water supply cuts in some parts of Delhi. Delhi’s Prime Minister Atishi also accused the BJP of “deliberately interrupting” the Delhi’s water supply, claiming that the party was resorting to tactics as faced with a “historical loss” in the elections.
