“The smuggers also detonated a raw explosive near the tire of a vehicle owned by the forest department. Although no injuries were reported, the suspects managed to escape,” said a forest official about the incursions between February 12 and the next morning.
“We received information that some MP smugglers had to collect gum from the Salai and Dhawada trees in the Vadoda forest,” said Range Forest Parimal Salunkhe officer. A person was later retained by allegedly taking refuge to the gang.
