Police in Kingston, Ontario. They say a live grenade was found this weekend in a scrap metal bin at a local waste facility.
Police were called to the scene around 1:00 pm on Saturday.
The item an employee found was determined to be a live grenade with the pin still intact.
The facility was evacuated and the Ontario Provincial Police explosive devices unit was called in to dispose of the grenade.
Police say it is unknown where the grenade came from or how it ended up in the scrap bin.
