Saudi Arabia deported a total of 5,033 Pakistani beggars, while another 369 people have been arrested for begging in five other countries in the last 16 months.
Last month, the Interior Minister had said that the Government would block the passports of the deported Pakistani and adjust the process of issuing new travel documents.

A committee was also formed under the presidency of the Secretary of the Interior to harden and further improve passport laws.
Naqvi was summoned by saying that the deportees were causing Pakistan ashamed internationally, and added that they would not be made concessions in the future.
