Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving a 20 -year prison sentence for helping Jeffrey Epstein to sexually abuse girls minor girls, told a senior official of the Department of Justice in July that he was not aware of any “list of clients” belonging to the deceased financial and never saw the president of the United States, Donald Trump, behaved inappropriately, according to a transcription of an interview of an interview.
“I was never witnessing the president in any inappropriate environment in any way,” said Maxwell, according to the transcription of his two -day interview last month with the attached attorney general Todd Blanche. “The president was never inappropriate with anyone.”

Epstein died for suicide in a cell in the Manhattan prison in 2019 while waiting for a trial for sexual traffic charges. He had declared himself innocent.
Epstein’s death, along with his friends with powerful people such as Trump and former Democratic president Bill Clinton, has promoted the conspiracy theories that other people were involved in their crimes, and who was killed to cover that. No one but him and Maxwell have been accused of crimes.
Blanche asked Maxwell if Epstein maintained some “customer list.”
“There is no list to know,” said Maxwell.
Maxwell, who declared himself innocent of the criminal charges filed against her in 2020, asked the United States Supreme Court to revoke his conviction. David Markus, Maxwell’s lawyer, said in a statement on Friday that the interview supports Maxwell’s argument that she is innocent.
“She supported her answers with documents and other objective evidence. Her behavior and credibility are clear for anyone to listen,” Markus said.
Markus has previously said that Maxwell has not maintained discussions with Trump about possible forgiveness, but that he would appreciate “relief.”
‘Very cordial’
The Maxwell Blanche interview on July 24 and July 25 occurred when Trump sought to quell the criticisms of his conservative base of supporters and Democrats of Congress for the decision of the Department of Justice not to release the archives.
A week after the interview, Maxwell was transferred from a low security prison center in Florida to a less restrictive prison field in Texas.
Trump knew Epstein socially in the 1990s and early 2000s. During Maxwell’s trial, the former financial pilot, Lawrence Visoski, testified that Trump flew in the private plane of Epstein several times. Trump has denied flying on the plane.
Maxwell told Blanche that he never saw Trump receive a massage or participate in another inappropriate activity. Many of Epstein’s alleged victims say that his unwanted sexual encounters began as massages.
“As regards me, President Trump was always very cordial and very friendly to me,” Maxwell said, according to transcription. “And I just want to say that I admire his extraordinary achievement to become the president now.”
It is rare that an official of the Department of Justice as Senior as Blanche, who also served as Trump’s personal lawyer, directly interviews a criminal defendant.
Blanche asked Maxwell about her and Epstein’s interactions with a series of prominent Democrats, including Bill and Hillary Clinton, former New York governor Andrew Cuomo and multimillion -dollar democratic donor George Soros.
Maxwell did not imply any of those individuals in irregularities.
Maxwell said he worked with Bill Clinton in his philanthropic efforts, and that he used the Epstein plane for a trip to Africa. But she said that Clinton never visited Epstein’s private island on the Virgin Islands of the United States, where Epstein was accused of abusing some girls.
