The identity of the victim is protected under a prohibition of standard publication.

Lynch was sentenced to three years after bars, but was released in the probation of the day in September 2024.
According to the probation document, RCMP contacted Lynch’s probation supervisor on May 26, 2025, saying that they had received a complaint from the victim of their assault. The victim showed RCMP officers that Lynch had sent a friendly request on Facebook, says the document.
That violated Lynch’s release conditions, so arrest orders were issued on the same day and the police arrested Lynch.
Lynch was convicted of sexual assault and assault in December for playing inappropriately and then hitting a 17 -year -old while working as an assistant coach of Regina Pats of the Western Hockey League in August 1988.
Lynch, 71, would then admit that the probation board had been looking for the victim’s profile on Facebook during the last six months after he was told that the victim was publishing potentially defamatory information about Lynch on social networks.
“You share that if a ‘friend application’ was sent, it was accidental, and did not know that it was sent,” says the decision of the Board of Probation.
Lynch said he did not believe that looking at the victim’s social networks was a violation of his conditions and, therefore, did not inform his probation supervisor. Lynch also said he wasn’t trying to communicate with the victim, he just wanted to see all the published comments about him.
The decision of the Board of probation said that Lynch offered several different explanations for the friend request, including that the victim was on a list of “mutual friends” of a couple of people with whom Lynch planned to connect and that most have been an inadvertent click.
The Board did not believe in Lynch’s explanations and highlighted inconsistencies, as Lynch originally saying that he had only looked at his victim’s social networks three times before admitting that he had really done it six times.
Lynch has repeatedly minimized his actions and previously denied having done something wrong, although he now accepts the responsibility of his actions.
“[That] It was with the warning that his memory is not so good, and he does not remember many events at this time, but he can work in a book that covers more than 40 years, “says the decision.
The Board found that Lynch tended to portray himself as a victim during the audience. Decided that there is no viable launch plan that “can administer [Lynch’s] Risk in the community “, since the 71 -year -old man lacks information about his offensive cycle.
Previous violation of the conditions
The probation of Lynch’s day was previously suspended after the staff of the community residential facilities in which he was staying with numerous concerns about his behavior.
That included border problems with criminals and residents who made them feel uncomfortable, “such as entering their personal space, asking intrusive questions about their sexual activity and initiating conversations about male genitals.”
Lynch seemed possessed to help a young roommate who was not interested in his attention, the report points out, and Lynch became aggressive once that roommate was moved, according to the documents.
Lynch’s behavior persisted despite being informed of concerns. As a result, its probation was suspended in October 2024.
That suspension was canceled after a review by the Canada’s probation board. Lynch received a reprimand in place. He resumed the probation of the day on December 9 and lived in a different community residential center for major criminals.
He lived in that installation when the most recent decision of the probation Board revoked his party expert again.
