Nueva Delhi: AAM AADMI’s party on Sunday appointed Atishi as the opposition leader in it Delhi Assemblywhere the BJP has a majority with 48 mla.
Ex delhi cm and prominent AAPA The Atishi leader assured his Kalkaji seat after a tough competition against former BJP deputy Ramesh Bidhuri and the leader of the Lamba Congress.
The BJP formed the government on Wednesday, naming Shalimar Bagh Mla Rekha Gupta as Delhi’s prime minister, making her the fourth woman to hold the position in the national capital.
Returning to power after 27 years, the BJP defeated the main leaders of the AAP, including Arvind Kejriwal in New Delhi, Manish Sisody in Jangpura and Saurabh Bharadwaj in the Great Kailash.
