Islamabad: Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, convened the Charge d’Affires of India, Geetika Srivastava, to offer a formal protest on the provocative actions of India after the incident of Pahalgam.
According to diplomatic sources, the Indian envoy received a written demo that describes Pakistan’s decisions in response to recent hostile Indian actions, including Pahalgam’s attack and the unilateral suspension of the Indo’s Waters Treaty.
A source said that the defense of India, the air and naval aggregates have been declared a pleasant person and informed about Pakistan’s decision to expel them together with support personnel, according to normal diplomatic practice, a movement of the eye after similar actions of New Delhi.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also informed Mrs. Srivastava that Pakistan has decided to limit the personnel of the High Commission of India in Islamabad to 30.
Pakistan also informed India that, with the exception of SIJ pilgrims, all Indian citizens in the country must leave within 48 hours.
“The decisions officially communicated to the Indian side in writing,” said diplomatic sources, adding that Pakistan is exercising his sovereign right to respond to the provocative and unilateral actions of India through established diplomatic channels.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Amna Baloch, warned Thursday against the Indian attempts to intensify tensions and reaffirmed the provision of Pakistan to counteract any misfortune.
In an informative session to a group of Missions and Diplomatic Heads based in Islamabad about the evolutionary situation after Pahalgam attack in Cashmiro controlled by India, he rejected the Indian erroneous information campaign against Pakistan, saying that such tactics would obstruct the path to peace and stability in the region.
The Foreign Secretary stressed that Pakistan has always rejected terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. He also shared the results of the National Security Committee meeting.
