FO lodges strong protest with India – Pakistan

Islamabad: Amid increasing tensions, the Indian Charge D’Affires was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday to receive a strong protest for the not caused Indian attacks in multiple locations in Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. These strikes resulted in the death and injuries of several civilians, including women and children.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan transmitted to the envoy that the flagrant act of aggression of India constitutes a clear violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty. The statement emphasized that such actions contravene the UN Charter, International Law and established norms that govern interest relationships.

Pakistan firmly rejected the unfounded justifications of India for his hostile actions. It was warned to the Indian side that such reckless behavior raises a serious threat to regional peace and stability, the statement added.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, informed Islamabad -based ambassadors in Indian strikes in Pakistan and Kashmir.

According to the FO, the Indian aggression condemned that not only violated the sovereignty of Pakistan but also in danger regional peace and stability. He also discussed the regional security situation after Indian attacks with the ambassadors and ministers of China, Turkiye and Italy.

China’s ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong called FM Ishaq and argued the current situation after India’s aggression against Pakistan.
