The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, arrived in the United Kingdom on Saturday before diplomatic commitments with British leadership and Commonwealth from August 17 to 19.
Pakistan and the United Kingdom have been involved in an improved strategic dialogue since 2011, which has deepened and expanded dialogue between the two countries, covering areas such as trade, economic growth and development, cultural cooperation, security and education.

A FO statement said today that during his official two -day visit FM, he would celebrate meetings with the Vice Prime Minister Angela Rayner and the Undersecretary of the Parliamentary State for the Hamish Hearter of Pakistan in London, in addition to a breakfast meeting with the general secretary general of the Commonwealth Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey.
It would also open a project of the Punjab land registration authority, which was tested in the high commission of Pakistan in London. “The initiative aims to help diaspora members to solve land documentation problems in Pakistan remotely,” said the FO.
He added that FM Dar would also be involved with British parliamentarians, Kashmiro leaders and representatives of the British-Pakistani community.
Earlier this month, Pakistan and the United Kingdom promised to deepen their association in the key sectors, with a renewed approach in defense cooperation and strategic dialogue, during high -level conversations in Rawalpindi.
In July, the United Kingdom government launched e-visas for Pakistani students and workers as part of a “improved” border system and immigration.
The announcement occurred just one day after both countries formally signed the Commercial Dialogue Mechanism Agreement and announced the establishment of the United Kingdom Business Advisory Council to institutionalize bilateral economic cooperation.
