FKA twigs drops lawsuit against ex Shia LaBeouf that alleged sexual and physical abuse

The FKA TWIGS singer has eliminated a lawsuit that filed former Shia LaBeouf who accused the actor of physical, mental and sexual abuse.

The British singer, born Tahliah Deett Barnett, had presented the case in December 2020 at Los Angeles Super Court. The duo had a relationship that lasted just under a year.

On July 18, FKA TWIGS filed a request for dismissal, according to the judicial file. The request requested that the complaint be dismissed with prejudice.

FKA TWIGS’s lawyer Bryan Freedman, and Lebeouf lawyer Shawn Holley said in a joint statement that the case was resolved outside the courts.

“Committed to forge a constructive path to follow, we have agreed to resolve our case outside the court,” said the statement. “While the details of the agreement will continue to be private, we want personal happiness, professional success and peace in the future.”

The 2020 demand accused Laboou of “relentless abuse”, including suffocating it, throwing it against a car on Valentine’s Day in 2019 and giving a sexually transmitted disease to know.

At the time of demand, LaBeouf told the New York Times: “I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalizations.”

“I have been abusive of myself and for everyone around me.

The “Transformers” star had reached the headlines in the past for their volatile behavior.

In 2014 he was accused of messy conduct, criminal transfer and harassment after interrupting a Broadway game, according to Associated Press. He finally declared himself guilty of disorderly behavior.

In 2017, it was a racist diatribe against Georgia police officers who arrested him for public drunkenness, the AP reported. Subsequently, he declared himself guilty of obstruction and was placed on probation for a year. The accusation of public drunkenness was withdrawn.
