An assailant opened fire in a school of the school hurting six people in the Battagram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, police said Tuesday.
Battagram police spokesman Gul Nabi Dawn.com that the school truck came from the Pirwahari area when it was attacked. “Five students and the truck driver were injured in the incident,” he added.
The injured were transferred to the butogram of the Hospital of the District headquarters, he continued, and added that a person, who was in critical condition, was referred to the medical complex of Ayub Abbottabad.

According to the Kuzabanda station station (Sho) Amjid Khan, the reason for the suspect behind the incident was “Personal Vendetta” against the truck driver. “The shooter opened fire, recklessly endangered the lives of children on board,” he said.
The president of the Battagram chapter of the Private Education Network (PEN), Syed Raqib Shah, condemned the incident and characterized it as an “act of terrorism.”
Shah urged the police officer of the Battagram District (DPO) to register a case under the Anti -Terrorism Law and stop the aggressor, warning that the lack of doing it would cause a strong reaction from the community.
Last month, a superior civil judge and a lawyer were killed by unknown motorcyclists in the Nowshera district. According to Nowshera Dpo Abdur Rasheed, it was said that the incident was of personal enmity.
