London: The British Museum said he had closed a series of exhibitions after a Ti contractor said “closed” some of his systems, in one of several unrelated incidents aimed at European museums on Saturday.
The place of London, one of the largest tourist draws in the United Kingdom capital and better known for hosting the stone of Rosetta and the marbles of the part, said the police had arrested the suspect.
“A IT contractor who was fired last week transferred to the museum and closed several of our systems,” said a museum spokesman.
“We are working hard for the museum to be completely operational again, but with sorrow that our temporary exhibitions have closed today and will continue to be like that during the weekend.”
Meanwhile, in the Netherlands, the Drets museum in Assen said it was closed during the weekend after thieves used explosives to enter and steal three old bracelets and a golden helmet. The police were alerted to an explosion on early Saturday, with thieves stealing the golden helmet of Cotofenesti, dating from the mid -twelfth century BC. C., said the museum on its website.
The helmet, the centerpiece of a temporary exhibition, was borrowed by the National Museum of History of Romania in Bucharest.
