Calling the defendant ‘Children’ or ‘Men’

The fifth and final defense lawyer, Julianna Greenspan, who represents Cal Footo, is now questioning Em
Foots is accused of making the divisions while he was naked of EM’s face while lying on the floor in the hotel room in early June 19, 2018.
Greenspan asks why he has called the five defendants “men” and not the children throughout their testimony, which began on May 2.
Throughout the interrogation, lawyers have called the defendants “children”, while EM has referred to them as “men.”
“You have specifically refused to use the word ‘boy’ in this trial, isn’t that?
“It is not a conscious decision,” says em. “They were 18 or 19 years old; they were that age.”
In his initial statement to the police, EM referred to the accused as children, says Greenspan, who shows him the transcription of his police interview on June 22, 2018, two days after the alleged assaults.
