Rawalpindi: The Anti -Corruption Circle of the Federal Research Agency (FIA) Islamabad has arrested six suspects, including a government official, for participating in corruption, bribery and fraud.
A FIA spokesman said in a statement that one of the suspects was published as a deputy director of FGEHF. Other suspects are beneficiaries of funds obtained through corruption and fraud, said the spokesman.
According to the initial investigation, the suspects are involved in falsification and fraud by abusing their authority. They were involved in the falsification and corruption in the Complementary Prize for Accumulated Properties (BUP) of subsectors of Mouza Thala Sayedan G-14.
The alleged defendant showed individuals illegally as co -owners of 5 bups, along with the buups given to the original owners. The individuals received funds based on false information.
The FIA said that the defendant committed falsification with the collusion of government officials.
The aforementioned fraud caused a loss of millions of rupees to the national treasure. The suspects have been arrested and an investigation has been launched against them, said the spokesman.
Meanwhile, the four sub -inspectors of the FIA and an LDC involved in a bad investigation and the breach of the discipline were dismissed from their work.
The dismissal of five officials occurred during the “Ordered Chamber” made by the Director General Fia Rifat Mukhtar Raja. The FIA spokesman said that the DG FIA held an audience on departmental actions against officials involved in malicious and poor investigation and violation of the discipline in the ordered room.
The convicted officers were sent in the areas of Islamabad, Faisalabad and Lahore. The DG FIA said there is no place for officials involved in negligence, carelessness and poor research in the institution. The disciplinary action will be guaranteed against the officials involved in corruption, negligence and negligence, said the DG.
