The publications of multiple users on social networks on Wednesday shared a screenshot of an Indian media, claiming that it showed a sketch of one of the suspects in the Pahalgam attack that resembles a Pakistani Crick player Babar Azam. However, the viral image was edited and the original sketch did not look like the athlete.

The assault has been claimed by ‘The Resistance Front’, an entity so far unknown; The media reports have summoned the outfit as claiming the attack to protest against demographic changes in the region in dispute.
