One of Jeffrey Epstein’s former lawyers on Sunday asked the United States Department of Justice on Sunday to publish additional research records of his sexual trafficking investigation, and urged the government to grant the immunity of Epstein’s ex -girlfriend so he can testify about his crimes.
In an interview in Fox News On Sunday, Alan Dershowitz said that the random transcripts that Attorney General Pam Bondi asked a federal judge on Friday not to contain the types of information looking for the supporters of President Donald Trump, as the names of the Epstein clientele.
“I think the judge should release him, but they are not in the transcripts of the Grand Jury,” said Dershowitz about Fox News.
“I have seen some of these materials. For example, there is an FBI report of interviews with alleged victims in which at least one of the victims names very important people,” he said, added that these names have been written.
The president of the United States, Donald Trump, has been under a growing pressure of his supporters to publish additional information related to the government’s sexual trafficking investigation into Jeffrey Epstein, who died for suicide in a Manhattan prison in 2019 while waiting for trial.
Earlier this year, Bondi promised that the department would launch additional materials, including “many names” and “many flight records.”
The department tracked that promise earlier this month, after launching a joint note with the FBI that poured cold water in long -term conspiracy theories about Epstein by saying that “there was no list of incriminatory clients” or no evidence of blackmail.
The memorandum also supported a previous investigation of the FBI, which concluded that Epstein died for suicide and was not killed in his jail cell.
The director of Bondi and the FBI, Kash Patel, faced a growing violent reaction of Trump’s supporters since the memorandum was issued, which led Trump last week to order the department to ask a court to review the transcripts of the Great Jury of the Epstein case.
The United States government presented on Friday a motion in a Federal Court in Manhattan to reveal the transcripts of the Grand Jury in the cases of Epstein and former associate Ghislaine Maxwell.
Maxwell was sentenced in 2021 for five federal positions related to his role in sexual abuse of Epstein’s minor girls. Maxwell is appealing his sentence and his 20 -year prison sentence to the United States Supreme Court.
The release of the Grand Jury documents may not reach what many of Trump’s supporters have requested, including the case files held by the Administration, and a judge can reject the request of the administration to make transcripts public.
Dershowitz told ‘Fox News Sunday’ on Sunday that the information that Bondi did not request to be revealed would be “much more informative and much more relevant.”
He added that the government should also grant Maxwell’s immunity so that she could testify to Congress about what knowledge of the supposed crimes of Epstein.
“She knows everything. She is Rosetta’s stone,” Dershowitz said about Maxwell. “If the immunity of use was given, it could be forced to testify.”
