The new comedian interview program premieres in Netflix on Wednesday night, marking the last impulse of the transmission giant in live broadcast. “Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney” will run weekly for 12 episodes with their first musician Joan Baez, actors Michael Keaton and Fred Armisen, and the columnist of personal finance of San Francisco Chronicle Jessica Roy.
Live programming has been a success for Netflix, but Mulaney enters the nightly scene at a time when larger shows have found a serious competition for the attention of a growing harvest of native internet voices that are increasingly going to television screens. The celebrities are still a pillar in interview programs, but It is so likely to generate bustling moments when they appear in popular podcasts as “Call Her Daddy” by Alex Cooper or “The Joe Rogan experience.”
The comedian seems flagship for the challenges of the night format.

The transmission service has a long data relationship with Emmy Mulaney winner, who has had five of his standing specials. “Night television programs have survived because you can cut and dice, cut them and put them in the transmission,” Thompson said.
“We have had more than 60 years of real success with this type of programming,” added Thompson. “The transmission will have to adjust how we see it, but it looks like a mine too rich so as not to continue trying to get things out.”
