Emily Clark scored at 2:47 extra time on Tuesday night to lead the position of Ottawa to a 2-1 victory over Minnesota Frost.
With the victory, the load takes a 1-0 advantage in the Professional Women’s Women’s Hockey League Championship series for the Walter Cup.
Ottawa is a perfect 3-0 at home at home through the playoffs. The Frost has never won the game 1 of a playoff series in four attempts.
Clark went down the wing and connected a shot beyond Nicole Hensley, who finished the game with 17 salvages.

Ottawa defeats Minnesota 2-1 with the goal of Emily Clark 2:47 in extra time to carry the opening game of the PWHL finals.
The game required extra time after Gwyneth Philips had a rare mistake at the beginning of the third period, which led to the icy target.
Philips, who stopped 25 shots, drove the album badly while trying to play it, giving it to Katy Knoll. Knoll quickly fed a pass to Klara Hymlarova, who buried the great opportunity to tie the game 1-1.
