Quetta: The unidentified armed men killed eight Pakistani workers in the Iranian province of Sistan-Baluchestan, who worked in a workshop, on Saturday, authorities said.
The Iranian authorities that confirmed the murder of the Pakistani citizens said that the tragic incident took place in a village in the Meharistan district in the morning.
“The eight Pakistani who were killed belong to the city of Bahawalpur in southern Punjab,” Iranian officials said, and added that they stayed in a workshop where they used to deck, polish, paint and repair cars.
According to the reports, the unknown armed men stormed the workshop at some time at night and after tie their hands and feet they opened the indiscriminate shots and killed them.
The attackers after killing the eight Pakistani escaped from the site.
All victims came from Bahawalpur, they worked in the Automobile Repairs Workshop
Iranian police hurried to the area after receiving information about the tragic incident and after recovering, the bodies were transferred to the hospital.
Five out of eight victims of the shot were identified as Dilshad, his son Muhammad Naeem, Jaffar, Danish and Nasir.
A spokesman for the Baluchistan National Army (BNA) prohibited through a statement issued to the media has assumed the responsibility of the murder of eight Pakistani.
Iranian authorities have said that the Iranian police were investigating the incident. It was a second incident of this type in Sistan Balucostan, since a few years ago armed men had killed nine Pakistani who also worked in Iran as motor mechanics and remaining in a workshop.
