The despair filled the air on Wednesday night when the help trucks finally crossed the border to the Gaza Strip.
The civilians hurried to a truck in Khan Youis on their way to a bakery. Driven by hunger, they began looting the flour bags in their flat bed.
Abdul Mohsen Fayyad was among those who ran through the flour.
“Hunger makes you do bad things,” Saife’s independent cameraman told CBC Mohamed.
The 45 -year -old man said he has been in a straight rice diet just to be able to take his medication and turn off his hunger. But as soon as he heard the trucks enter, he joined the people who crowd the trucks to try to secure a flour bag.
“We want to eat, we want to live, we want an honorable life,” he said.
CBC News followed a humanitarian truck that entered the Gaza Strip in the southern city of Khan Younis on Wednesday night, since it was besieged by hungry civilians who took truck flour bags before it could reach the bakery where I should download.
In an instant, shots were heard nearby: gangs gathering to clear the scene. Ahmed al-Faqawi, 16, barely managed to get a flour bag before crawling under the truck to cover.
He said he was sleeping when he listened to the trucks driving and came running.
“When I saw people attacking, I also did it,” he said, and then ran to the night, a back flour bag.

The Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, said that the construction of the first areas of humanitarian aid distribution in Gaza would be complete in the next few days, after Israel allowed 100 trucks that transport food for babies and medical equipment to the enclave on Wednesday.
“Ultimately, we intend to have large safe areas in southern Gaza. The Palestinian population will move there for their own safety, while we combat in other areas,” Netanyahu said in a video statement issued by his office on Thursday.
The Palestinian Health Minister said Thursday that 29 children and elderly had died from deaths related to Hunger in Gaza in recent days, and that many more thousands were at risk.
Bake bread
The UN World Food Program (WFP) said Thursday that a handful of bakeries admits in the south and center of Gaza has resumed bread production after the trucks were able to collect loading of Kerem Shalom’s crossing point.
“We are in a career against time to prevent generalized hunger,” said country director of the PMA Antoine Renard in a
Declaration to journalists.
Some of those flour bags arrived at the Al-Banna bakery in Deir Al Balah on Thursday, and the employees hurried there to work.
The owner of the bakery, Ahmed Al-Banna, says he started working in the middle of the night to be ready for distribution in the morning “because the famine is present in Gaza.”
The sounds of the mixers and the ovens could be heard at the bottom of the kitchen where the dough is intimidated before moving to the next station to be cut, rolled and flattened. Then, it is placed on a baked conveyor belt where it is baked. Finally, Pita’s bread is packed.
Al-Banna says that the World Food Program will take the PAN and distribute it to civilians in Gaza “on their way.”
Some bakeries in Gaza received shipments from flour bags and quickly started working by bread that would be distributed to civilians.
Nearby state was Vladimir Jovcev, deputy director of the program of the program. He said that the humanitarian situation in Gaza is “serious” after months of blockages at border crossings. But today, he said, it’s a time for celebration.

The statement continued to say that the United Nations and their partners have a “clear” and “principles” plan to provide help while considering the possibilities of diversion. The statement also required a permanent fire.
