NEW DELHI: The Congress party on Thursday unveiled its key promises for Delhi, promising affordable cooking gas, free electricity and ration kits as part of its campaign ahead of the Delhi elections.
During a press conference, Congress presented two main schemes: the Inflation Relief Plan and the Free Electricity Plan. Under the Inflation Relief Plan, the party promised LPG cylinders at Rs 500 and free ration kits for families.

The Free Electricity Scheme, on the other hand, will offer 300 units of electricity for free to households.
Sharing its commitments on X, the Congress declared: “Congress guarantee for Delhi. Inflation relief plan. Gas cylinder for 500 rupees. Free ration kit. Free Electricity Scheme. 300 units of free electricity will be covered for each need. Congress is necessary.”
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was present during the press conference where the announcement was made.
